My kindergartners are really loving the back to school songs and rhymes from our reading series Journeys. I made them each their own song and rhyme book to take home when we are done.
As we learn each rhyme, we work together to find and circle the rhyming words. We circle each pair of rhyming words with a different color crayon.
If you would like a copy of this book, just click on over to my facebook page. It's one of my facebook freebies!
Enjoy!
I love your idea and I love FREE. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I'm not on facebook, though. :(

Thanks so much! We use Journeys also and I'm one week into those preliminary lessons. I send home a "Noisy Reader" each week with our new poems and songs. These will be perfect additions to our books. We spend time in Working with Words coloring our poem illustrations and singing/reciting/reading our pages over again.
